What we care for our children

Shumi Kisku
Shumi Kisku is 11 years old. She reads in class three. She lives in Birgonj Children Home from this year. Her family lives at Thakurgaon province in Jongaon area. They are one brother and three sisters. They have total member in their family are 6. Her father is a day labor, and mother is a housewife. Insecurity, lack of female teachers, shortage of schools, insufficient transportation, and many other factors have led girls to stay at home and fewer children to attend school. Children who have faced difficulties of poverty are now the only breadwinner of their families. Most of them sought shelter with our operating organization in CDP. This child cannot get well education as well as basic needs from her parents.
Furthermore, to promote healthy reproductive practice we ensure access to healthy menstrual hygiene practice for its female students and youth. We are committed to address the challenges faced by women and girls that hinder them to reach their full potential. Apart from this, we are giving this child a wide range variety access to learn that how to sing music and also how to stitch cloth in order to make her prepare any further obstacles come from the economic condition. She can prepare herself for the future employment when she grows up. We provide him with quality education in private schools. He also receives tuition in Math’s, English, and Computer subjects after-school hours. Our CDP volunteers are also preparing English language learning videos and sending him to watch and learn. We also provide the child with laptops, English books, stationery, shoes, school bags and school uniforms.

Joyshen Tripura
Jonshen Tripura is 5 years old. He reads in class two. He lives in Osmanpur Talitha Koumi boys’ children home. His family lives in Rangamati province at Anil Headman Tripurapara area. They are three brothers. They have total member in their family are five. His father is a farmer, and mother is a housewife. He loves to play cricket and read books. He wants to be a great police officer. His parent is very poor and due to various unusual circumstances like pandemic, natural disaster of flood in north pole area their houses washed away, domestic animal had died due to drown into the water, and cultivate field were damaged by the flood. Because of this his family cannot afford him to give necessities and send him for well education.
His father cannot afford their daily food too. It is becoming very difficult to survive well. This child came to our home for aiding, and we are giving him basic needs which is most desirable to him. we provide him with quality education in private schools. He also receives tuition in Maths, English, and Computer subjects after-school hours. We also preparing him well in extracurricular activities like learning music and motorcycle mechanic training. This way, we make him capable of earning his own and providing a livelihood to his families when he grows up. Our CDP volunteers are also preparing English language learning videos and sending him to watch and learn. We also provide the child with laptops, English books, stationery, shoes, school bags and school uniforms. Our program currently supports 50 children in Osmanpur boy’s hostel

Hridoy Baske
Ridoy Baske is 16 years old. He reads in class Ten. He lives in Osmanpur Talitha Koumi boys’ children home from seven years. His family lives at Joypurhat province in Noyda area. He has one brother & one sister. They have total member in their family are 4. His father is a Farmer, and mother is a housewife. He loves to play football and his favorite subject is math. He wants to be an Army. But they have been the victims of the natural disaster for decades due to his family lived in a north pole area where most of the time is remaining flood, storm, and land sliding. Because of this the half portion of their houses drown into the water, lands are wash away and the roads remain block.
The lack of primary education, clean water and sanitation, proper food, a playground, and a park that are the fundamental necessities in life, have left them behind in progress. Hence, we work very hard for good upbringing of each one of these programs. His parent cannot give him proper education and as well as nutritious food. We work with this child as a guardian and look after him very well. He is very attentive and obedience boy who never did misbehave with the teacher. He lived in our program since he was only eight years old and in this long period, he showed high respect to our teacher. Now he is very happy to stay here due to having nutritious food, education, cloths, and shelter. He receives four nutritious meals from us and having good access to play with the carrom board, ludo, cricket, football etc. We also preparing him well in extracurricular activities like learning music and motorcycle mechanic training. Like he can learn singing, how to play musical instruments, and can learn mechanical work from specialized teacher.
